Job summary

Wisconsin Converting, Inc. is hiring a Manufacturing Engineering Manager in Green Bay to lead the Maintenance and Machine Set Up teams.

You will drive equipment reliability, reduction of downtime, and improvements in manufacturing efficiency with an engineering mindset. This hands-on leadership role requires independent management of departmental operations, root-cause analysis, and collaboration with production leadership to achieve measurable, lasting improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering or related field preferred; equivalent education and relevant experience considered.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience in manufacturing, engineering, industrial maintenance, or related operations required.
• Experience improving manufacturing processes, equipment reliability, production efficiency, or maintenance operations required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Maintenance and Machine Set Up teams, establishing clear expectations, accountability, and performance standards.
• Improve equipment reliability, machine performance, manufacturing processes, and production efficiency.
• Oversee maintenance activities, machine setups, troubleshooting, and technical projects to minimize downtime.
• Analyze equipment performance, downtime, maintenance metrics, and changeover efficiency to identify improvement opportunities.
• Utilize Epicor ERP, AI, automation, and other technologies to improve maintenance planning, reporting, and operational efficiency.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs, standardized procedures, and technical training to improve equipment reliability and employee performance.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, equipment upgrades, and root cause investigations.
• Collaborate with production leadership to improve safety, quality, productivity, and overall operational performance.
