Job summary

Barry Callebaut Group seeks a Manufacturing Excellence Coach to lead BCOS program deployment and drive continuous improvement across the regional manufacturing footprint. You will coach site leaders, deploy loss-elimination skills, and ensure sustained performance via a zero‑loss mindset.

Strong TPM/Six Sigma background, Lean expertise, and experience in change management are essential. This on‑site role emphasizes leadership, education, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• TPM / IWS / WCM Plant Operating Systems deployment experience.
• Six Sigma or Lean certification as an additional capability.
• Strong understanding and know‑how of Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, TPM and other improvement techniques.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to visualize and interpret data or metrics.
• Project management skills to oversee multiple improvement projects simultaneously.
• English language proficiency required.
• Coaching/Consultancy Skills.

Responsibilities

• Shapes and drives the implementation of the BCOS program and strategic projects in alignment with the Global CSD 'Go For Zero' ambition.
• Map the maturity of the sites against the BCOS framework and build the manufacturing excellence road map with leaders.
• Provide education to site pillar leaders and support for certification processes; assess pillar work processes.
• Coach the sites CI leaders and Plant Leadership Team to drive change management for BCOS.
• Conduct regular assessments on pillar work processes and provide actionable insights and follow-ups.
• Drive program priorities based on data analytics and site objectives (CBN and financials).
• Encourage benchmark sharing and cross‑plant learning of best practices.
• Execute improvement initiatives at a tactical level and standardize processes to improve efficiency.
• Engage frontline employees and middle management with hands‑on coaching (GEMBA).
• Facilitate workshops to develop pillar processes competencies and train local teams.
