Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, IS, engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years in business analysis or related role.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and validating requirements.
• Experience creating process maps, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience using Jira or comparable work-management platform.
• Ability to work with SMEs, end users, developers, and leadership.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance if needed.

Responsibilities

• Gather and validate requirements with SMEs; document rules, workflows, data needs, and constraints.
• Translate needs into user stories, functional specs, process maps, and acceptance criteria.
• Plan and track work using standard project-management tools; manage epics, features, stories, tasks, defects.
• Coordinate delivery with Applications Lead and development team; support backlog grooming and release planning.
• Collaborate with database and technical teams; understand data flows and integrations.
• Develop test scenarios and test cases; support various testing stages and validate functionality.
• Communicate requirements, decisions, risks, and changes to stakeholders.
• Assist with change management, training materials, and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual work and improve data quality.
