Jessup Manufacturing seeks an Equipment Technician for 2nd shift in Lake Bluff, IL. Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma and 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, with strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with basic tools and electrical testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs production machinery and equipment as required to maximize run time.
• Perform preventive maintenance duties following a standard preventive maintenance schedule to keep equipment functioning at maximum efficiency and reliability.
• Records all actions taken in equipment maintenance log promptly and accurately so that complete records are available for each piece of equipment.
• Recommend improvements to preventive maintenance procedures.
• Run errands for parts or supplies as needed (1 to 3 times per month).
• Maintain a clean, orderly stocked work area and equipment.
• Provide off-hour coverage/support on a call basis.
• Travel to and provide support at McHenry, IL facility upon request.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the department supervisor.
