Jessup Manufacturing Company is hiring an Equipment Technician for the 2nd shift in Lake Bluff, IL. You will troubleshoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance on all production machines and related equipment, ensuring maximum run time and reliability.

You will follow maintenance schedules, document actions, and participate in continuous improvement of procedures. Requires strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with tools, electrical diagnostics and safety practices.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience with machinery.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Proficient with basic hand tools, multimeters and amp probes.
• Willingness to perform preventive maintenance and repairs.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance on production machines.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules to maximize uptime.
• Maintain maintenance logs with accurate entries for each equipment piece.
• Suggest improvements to maintenance procedures.
• Assist with parts procurement and routine setup/service.
• Support on-call needs and travel to other site as required.
• Operate forklifts/scissor lifts safely when needed.
