Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of multi-line production supervision experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Verifies work orders are being followed.
• Coordinates the use of resources and job assignments.
• Verifies raw materials and process data is properly collected and documented throughout each day.
• Verifies materials are received properly to work orders.
• Competency to operate each piece of equipment and cover for low staffing.
• Ensures Operators are trained in inventory management and material handling.
• Documents Job Cost Variances for closed and released Work Orders.
• Assists Production Manager with scheduling resources.
• Works with Quality and Purchasing on non‑conforming materials.
• Holds LB employees accountable for handling HazMat materials.
• Maintains housekeeping at the Lake Bluff facility.
• Monitors shift attendance and ensures compliance with attendance requirements.
• Ensures adequate shift coverage including call-ins and PTO coverage.
