Job summary

Qualifications

• Have good oral and written communication skills.
• Successfully pass mechanical aptitude exams.
• Able to pay close attention to detail and follow instructions/procedures to meet quality standards.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks and maintain consistent attendance.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required.
• Meet all Mechanic I qualifications and be able to use shop equipment (mills, lathes, drill presses, band saws, welders).
• Five years of related mechanical/manufacturing experience.
• Able to complete work orders in MP2 using keyboard/PC literacy.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair plant production equipment; troubleshoot and monitor performance.
• Operate, repair and maintain production equipment; assist with machine setups as needed.
• Promote safety and housekeeping; enforce safety policies in the shop and on site.
