AGI in Clay Center, KS is seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Engineer to design, develop and improve fabrication equipment and manufacturing processes. You will work with production, quality, supply chain, sales and service to deliver reliable, cost-effective solutions.

Responsibilities include leading projects from concept through production, performing analyses, coordinating testing, and ensuring safety and quality compliance.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or equivalent.
• 3–7 years of engineering experience in fabrication equipment or manufacturing.
• Experience in product design, manufacturing processes, and project management.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt, or equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software and GD&T.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop fabrication equipment, components, and systems using CAD software.
• Create engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Evaluate existing products and processes for performance, quality, and cost improvements.
• Lead product development projects from concept through production launch.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to optimize methods, tooling, and assembly.
• Perform structural, mechanical, hydraulic, and material analyses.
• Support troubleshooting of product and manufacturing issues.
• Coordinate testing and analyze field data to improve reliability.
• Work with suppliers to develop and qualify components and materials.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical training to sales and service teams.
• Travel to customer locations, dealers, suppliers, and testing facilities as needed.
