AGI is seeking an Application Engineer in Sioux Falls, SD to configure material handling equipment and produce approval drawings in collaboration with Sales, customers, and Designers. You will verify technical accuracy, build 3D models and drawings, and support cost analysis during changes.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree, SolidWorks proficiency, and strong communication. Travel to sites and AGI manufacturing centers may be necessary as projects progress.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Registered P.Eng. or eligible for pre-registration (EIT) status.
• SolidWorks experience and ability to read drawings are essential.
• Industrial material handling experience is preferred (3+ years).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Aufgaben

• Develop project-specific equipment designs within established templates.
• Verify quotes, orders, and client expectations for technical accuracy.
• Create/update engineering calculation tools and seek peer review.
• Provide 3D model and drawing direction to the Application Designer.
• Review drawings for alignment with customer requirements.
• Maintain ERP data accuracy and document control for projects.
• Track design changes and assess cost impact for change orders.
• Support warranty issues and travel to sites as needed.
