Job summary

Epiroc USA LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site troubleshooting, repair, and installation of equipment with a focus on minimizing downtime and costs for customers. The role requires safe work practices, tool inventory management, and strong mechanical aptitude.

The technician will travel, maintain required licenses, and complete TL1/TL2 training within the first year, while adhering to safety protocols and OEM specifications. PPE is provided and safety is a priority.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills; read hydraulic and 24-volt schematics.
• Own hand tools; build tool inventory per Epiroc requirements.
• Complete TL1 and TL2 training within first year of employment.
• Maintain valid driver's license; DOT/CDL requirements if operating heavy CMV.
• Willingness to travel for the role.

Responsibilities

• Review and update personal tool inventory quarterly to stay compliant.
• Complete daily work assignments per customer or supervisor.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems on-site or by phone.
• Process warranty claim reports in the field per policy.
• Follow safety and environmental requirements; use PPE and promote safe practices.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and internal staff.
• Provide warranty support and submit service reports to support claims.
• Develop customer-specific solutions and rebuild components to OEM specs as needed.
• Serve as SME to train and assist other technicians.
