Job summary

Lifecore Biomedical, Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician for the 2nd shift.

You will provide hands-on production support for packaging operations, ensure equipment reliability, and minimize downtime while collaborating with Operations, Engineering and Maintenance. The role offers a four-day work week and a competitive total rewards package, with starting pay $29.00 to $32.00 per hour plus a $1.25 per hour second shift premium, plus comprehensive benefits including

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in the medical device or biopharmaceutical industry preferred but not required.
• Previous preventative maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and analyze relevant process/equipment metrics to improve the process/equipment.
• Investigate and correct problems involving the manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Ensure all necessary spare parts are on hand and material of contact documented.
• Perform/coordinate preventative maintenance and calibration.
• Work with equipment vendors to procure/maintain/troubleshoot equipment.
