Job summary

Lifecore Biomedical in Chaska, MN is hiring a Packaging Technician to set up and operate packaging equipment for final manufacturing stages. You will label, seal, and package Lifecore products and document completed work while maintaining cleanroom practices.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, ability to lift 40 pounds, stand for long periods, and be a team player. Prior packaging experience in a regulated medical device environment is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to comprehend and follow written operating procedures.
• Able to lift 40 pounds.
• Able to stand for the majority of your shift.
• 6 months packaging experience in medical device or regulated industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate equipment that labels, seals and packages Lifecore products.
• Document completed work during the packaging of the products.
• Practice proper precautions and procedures when handling chemicals.
• Participate in the review of Lifecore procedures.
• Identify and communicate quality issues.
• Acquire and maintain cleanroom and gowning qualifications.
