Job summary

Lifecore Biomedical is seeking a Machine Operator I (2nd shift) in Chaska, MN to set up and operate packaging equipment in the final manufacturing stages. You will label, print, seal, package and inspect Lifecore products while documenting work and reviewing batch records.

Cleanroom and gowning qualifications must be maintained; a high school diploma and 6 months’ experience are required. The role offers a four-day work week, competitive pay, and a comprehensive benefits package including health

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months experience in the setup and operation of semi-automated manufacturing equipment.
• Previous packaging in a medical device or regulated industry is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team and follow written operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and perform basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment that labels, seals and packages Lifecore products.
• Label, print, tray seal, pouch, final package and inspect Lifecore products.
• Document completed work during the packaging of the products.
• Review batch records, procedures, and practices to help ensure the safety of Lifecore products as well as personnel.
• Acquire and maintain cleanroom and gowning qualifications.
