Job summary

Lifecore Biomedical, Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician for the 2nd shift to provide hands-on production support for packaging operations, ensure equipment reliability, improve process efficiency and minimize downtime.

You will serve as a key liaison between Operations, Engineering and Maintenance, rapidly identify issues, escalate concerns and implement effective solutions to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in the medical device or biopharmaceutical industry preferred but not required.
• Previous preventative maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and analyze relevant process/equipment metrics to improve the process/equipment.
• Investigate and correct problems involving the manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Ensure all necessary spare parts are on hand and material of contact documented.
• Perform/coordinate preventative maintenance and calibration.
• Work with equipment vendors to procure/maintain/troubleshoot equipment.
