Job summary

Lifecore Biomedical, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II for the 1st shift in Chaska, MN. You will maintain and repair a broad range of manufacturing and facility equipment, lead diagnostics, and perform boiler and electrical tasks in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
5-8 years’ experience in a manufacturing setting, regulated environment preferred.
Class 2B Boiler license preferred with 2 years of hands-on boiler experience.
Demonstrated aptitude for high and low voltage electrical and mechanical repair.
Understanding of clean rooms and purified water systems.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair manufacturing and facility equipment per manuals and specs.
Lead repair diagnostics and sourcing of parts.
Perform basic electrical work, including low voltage tasks.
Inspect and maintain boiler; troubleshoot and repair as needed.
Collaborate with maintenance, manufacturing and operations to install equipment.
Inspect/process logging of process and support systems; assist sanitation of purified water system.
