Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician for weekend shifts at Whitehall Casting, Plant 10 Operations.

The role provides technical support to ensure continuous flow of parts and materials and to drive velocity through the plant. The position emphasizes collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams, root-cause problem solving, and identifying improvements to reduce costs and enhance process reliability.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical technology or related field.
• Minimum of two years of work history or six months of continuous manufacturing experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between engineering, manufacturing, and other functions to expedite product flow.
• Address production issues using root-cause analysis to improve velocity.
• Identify and address potential production problems for improvements or cost reductions.
• Collaborate with engineering on tooling, NPI, and process improvements.
• Support data collection and analysis to support process control.
