Corning Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support the Hemlock Wafer Plant Manufacturing Finishing Department.

You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to improve asset uptime and process efficiency. The role involves hands-on maintenance, preventive/corrective/predictive work, and coaching teammates on equipment maintenance and safety.

Formación

• Minimum of a 2-year degree in a technical discipline; engineering preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment performing maintenance, repair and upkeep of industrial machines/equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Support day-to-day equipment and process issues; implement solutions to enhance uptime.
• Provide technical support for proactive maintenance; improve productivity and reduce maintenance costs.
• Assist in diagnostics, repairs and rebuilds; collaborate with engineering for non-routine repairs and defect handling.
