Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent; engineering/operational leadership required.
• Proven leadership in high-accountability, performance-driven environments.
• Broad knowledge of process execution, equipment, maintenance, and capital projects.
• Strong learning agility to adapt to unfamiliar industries.
• Exceptional communication of technical tradeoffs to frontline and executives.
• Willingness to travel 50–60% across facilities in US/Canada.

Responsibilities

• Translate plant bottlenecks into high-value engineering solutions across plants.
• Lead reliability frameworks, preventive/predictive maintenance, and RCA for root-cause fixes.
• Govern capital initiatives with PMO and external engineers to ensure operability.
• Advance automation and OT roadmap with IT/OT partnership and change management.
• Establish engineering standards and a knowledge base; mentor the initial team.
