Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers focused on the production of human-capable Lunar vehicles. You will guide engineering execution, translate designs into manufacturing instructions, and ensure quality and safety across the build lifecycle.

Located at Rocket Park, FL, relocation is available. The role requires onsite work in a fast-paced production environment with travel up to 10% for training and support activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field from an accredited university.
• 5+ years of manufacturing, industrial, or process engineering experience.
• Strong commitment to mission assurance, quality, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Enable the success of a team of Manufacturing Engineers.
• Provide mentoring and career development for engineers.
• Own manufacturing engineering deliverables across the lifecycle.
• Support DFMA and PFMEA studies to tighten design-build-test feedback.
• Drive lean improvements and root-cause analysis to ensure on-time delivery of flight hardware.
