Job summary

AIS, a division of 1HMX, seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead its diverse manufacturing engineering team, aligning process engineering, test systems, and tooling with NPI and continuous improvement goals.

The role partners closely with Design Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain to optimize safety, quality, and cost while ensuring new products move from prototype to full-scale production with mature processes and documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical/mechatronics/manufacturing engineering or related field.
8+ years' progressive manufacturing engineering experience; 2–3 years in people management.
Experience supporting NPI and production readiness in high-mix manufacturing.
Experience with electromechanical assembly and production/test equipment.

Responsibilities

Lead Manufacturing Engineering and teams (Engineers, Bench Technicians, Assemblers).
Oversee NPI, sustaining engineering, and process documentation.
Coordinate test systems, fixtures, tooling, and handoffs to full-rate production.
Drive continuous improvement, safety, quality, and cost reduction.
Partner with Design Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain.
