Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering management or leadership experience within manufacturing, industrial, automotive, consumer products, chemical, food & beverage, or related environments.
• Strong experience leading engineering projects, capital improvements, process optimization, or operational excellence initiatives.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, and project management methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency with engineering systems, project management tools, and manufacturing technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop engineering teams, providing mentorship, coaching, and performance management to drive success.
• Manage engineering projects from concept through implementation, ensuring alignment with budgets and timelines.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, production, quality, and senior leadership to support objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, and cost reduction.
• Oversee design, development, testing, and implementation of engineering solutions and capital projects.
• Establish engineering standards, best practices, and technical procedures for operational excellence.
• Monitor project performance, resource allocation, and KPIs to achieve results.
• Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for equipment and process challenges.
• Manage departmental budgets, capital expenditures, and engineering resource planning.
• Foster a culture of safety, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
