Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Azusa, CA is seeking a Manager Manufacturing Engineering – Level 2 to lead a manufacturing/production team, delivering safe, quality products on time and within cost targets. You will direct design and process development, production, engineering, test and quality assurance, and present status on cost, schedule, and performance for multiple projects.

Basic qualifications include a Bachelor's with 8 years (or Master's with 6, or PhD with 4).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of professional experience or higher degrees with reduced experience
• Experience in Manufacturing and/or Industrial Engineering, production support or related field
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance
• Minimum 2 years’ experience running a team

Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages all operational aspects of one or more manufacturing/production areas
• Ensure safety, timely, quality products within cost targets and drive continuous improvement
• Provide leadership across design, process development, production, operations, engineering, test and QA
• Manage and present status on cost, schedule and performance for projects in the area
• Assess issues and develop mitigation plans to meet productivity, quality, cost, and delivery goals
• Other duties as assigned
