Job summary

GCX Healthcare Solutions in El Paso, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the Manufacturing Engineering team, driving continuous improvement and site readiness for existing and new product lines. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering or related discipline.
• Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.
• 5+ years driving lean manufacturing and continuous improvement using VSM, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and CI tools.
• 5+ years of direct supervisory experience leading a team of manufacturing engineers.
• 7+ years Manufacturing Engineering and Operations Management experience.
• 5+ years in Project Management, New Product Development and New Product Introduction.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills using engineering and lean concepts.
• Hands-on manufacturing mindset in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with EH&S inspections and safety/compliance.
• Experience with automation, tight-tolerance machining and assembly.

Responsibilities

• Key member of the site’s Focus Factory and leadership team.
• Supports New Product Development (NPD) and transfers to the site.
• Leads site launches, NPI processes for new products and engineering changes.
• Develops and reviews project status with site leadership and PMO.
• Desing (Design) Production Layouts and Process Flow.
• Leads cross-functional projects with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and safety.
• Manages project scheduling, planning, tracking, and site communication.
• Conducts Gemba walks to identify improvement actions.
• Implements Lean or Six Sigma-driven manufacturing upgrades for safety, efficiency, and automation.
• Collaborates on Operational Excellence initiatives and day-to-day improvements.
