Job summary

BD in El Paso, TX seeks a Manufacturing Excellence & Continuous Improvement professional to lead process optimization, coaching, and OEE initiatives across manufacturing lines. You will support new product introductions, ensure validated processes, and drive data-driven improvements in quality, throughput, and efficiency.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and 3 years of medical device manufacturing experience, with a focus on lean methods and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• 3 years medical device manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for assigned manufacturing processes.
• Provide coaching and technical guidance to engineers, technicians, and operators.
• Lead OEE tracking across all manufacturing lines.
• Identify improvement opportunities via OEE analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Champion Lean and continuous improvement to boost productivity, quality, and throughput.
• Support sustaining engineering and process improvement projects.
• Use data analytics to identify process trends and suggest improvements.
• Participate in BD Excellence initiatives and CI programs.
• Review and approve engineering docs, validation protocols, and assessments.
• Lead manufacturing engineering liaison for new product introductions and transfers.
• Ensure processes are designed, developed, and documented within the El Paso facility.
• Develop process docs, work instructions, SOPs, and specs.
• Provide technical support to Production, Quality, Materials, Maintenance, and Operations.
