Johnson Controls in the United States is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers and technicians in designing tools, controls, equipment, and processes for HVAC fabrication and assembly. A strong Lean/ Six Sigma mindset will guide workstreams and improvements across value streams.
You will drive future-state planning, organize cross-functional collaboration, and develop labor standards and costing while managing budget and performance.

This position manages activities and allocates resources within the Manufacturing Engineering Team to develop and meet Divisional, Site, and Value Stream goals. He/she/they will lead a group of Manufacturing Engineers and Technicians to design and develop tools, controls, equipment, and processes to support manufacturing fabrication and assembly operations of commercial HVAC units. A significant portion of the manager’s time is dedicated to team development, performance management, and organizational leadership responsibilities. This person will work closely with the manufacturing operations team with a Lean mindset in developing new production methods, workstream consolidation layouts, and interfacing with the quality control staff to establish standards and resolve manufacturing issues.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $100,000 - $150,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
