Job summary

Tenneco is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the design and implementation of cost-efficient manufacturing processes that deliver high-quality products. You will drive ongoing process improvement and provide hands-on support for troubleshooting, partnering with plant leadership to enable excellence on the shop floor.

Your leadership ensures the team optimizes KPIs and drives business results through capital projects, new product launches, and Lean methodologies.

Qualifications

Experience leading manufacturing operations and driving a culture of excellence.
Deep knowledge of manufacturing process design and lean methods.
Proven track record with capital projects, quoting, and new product launches.

Responsibilities

Develop robust manufacturing processes, layouts, and DFMs to cut costs and improve ergonomics.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cycle times, improve yields, and lower scrap; enhance OEE.
Troubleshoot manufacturing processes, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Lead capital projects, equipment acquisition, and project management from start to finish.
Support new product launches, pilot runs, and validation activities.
Design manufacturing processes that meet IATF standards.
