Job summary

Ag Leader is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager in Ames, IA to lead a team responsible for safely and efficiently manufacturing high-quality products. You will guide process development, equipment, and automation while ensuring readiness for new products and launches.

You will champion Lean principles, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate across Production, Design Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to meet program goals and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of engineering leadership in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with NPI, Lean, continuous improvement and structured problem solving.
• Working knowledge of 3P, PFMEA and DFMA.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, automation and process development.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably EPICOR.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Manufacturing Engineering team with clear goals, priorities, feedback and accountability.
• Serve as the primary liaison for new product development and manufacturing readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement across safety, quality, delivery and productivity.
• Support ERP/MRP and other manufacturing systems related to processes.
