Job summary

Rexel USA in Santa Clara, CA, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor to lead the engineering function during new product design and launch, oversee BOMs, production docs, and test strategies, and drive design-for-manufacture and cost objectives.

You will develop team capabilities, manage KPIs tied to growth and profitability, and collaborate with sales, operations, and suppliers while ensuring CAD data governance and compliant processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience.
• 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory capacity within manufacturing engineering.
• 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree - Required; Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Lean/6σ certification or PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop manufacturing engineers and technicians; set priorities and resources.
• Serve as primary engineering escalation point with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Ensure drawings and customer requirements are met; govern CAD files and data standards.
• Drive new product/process development and scale-up; gate reviews and ROI analyses.
• Lead continuous improvement in safety, quality, and delivery; report KPIs.
• Approve production schedules, BOMs, routings, and shop-floor readiness for launches.
• Direct root-cause analysis for returns; implement CAPA and track effectiveness.
