Job summary

Regal Rexnord in Simi Valley, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer focused on lean process improvements in a precision machining environment. The role sits with the Manufacturing Engineering team and emphasizes reducing variation, improving productivity, and supporting New Product Launches.

The successful candidate will bring a BS in engineering, 10+ years in aerospace machining, and hands-on experience with SolidWorks, NAV, and lean/six sigma methods.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a manufacturing/engineering field required.
• 10+ years in aerospace precision machining, prototype or small-batch processes.
• Experience with RCCA, process control, LEAN and Six Sigma.
• Proficient with SolidWorks for process drawings and tool design.
• Familiar with heat treat, NDT, plating/coating processes and quality systems (AS9100).
• Ability to lead multiple projects and communicate effectively with suppliers and internal customers.

Responsibilities

• Reduce scrap and non-conformances through RCCA and improved process control.
• Develop processes and planning for New Product Launch and Existing Product Reactivation.
• Recommend and implement new equipment, including process planning and development.
• Develop/manipulate manufacturing processes and drawings using SolidWorks; design fixtures/tools; plan machining operations.
• Participate in LEAN initiatives and apply Six Sigma tools for improvements.
• Drive results across multiple projects as part of the Manufacturing Engineering team.
• Interface with suppliers and internal customers; ensure accurate technical data and historical records.
