Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor in Santa Clara, CA to lead and develop manufacturing engineers and technicians. You will set priorities, allocate resources, and drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, and cost using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities include CAD oversight, product/process development, ROI analyses, and maintaining production schedules, BOMs, routings, and shop-floor readiness for launches.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering (any) or related field with 2 years of experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any) or related field with 5 years of experience required.
• Experience with prototype set up, BOM validation, pilot builds, ECO/ECN management, and design optimization for manufacturability, cost, yield, and safety.
• Define test requirements and pass/fail criteria; implement safe, repeatable test procedures; ensure clear operator instructions with visuals, torque specs, QC checkpoints and traceability.
• Drawing markup and documentation control; ensure GD&T and standards; manage revisions through change control.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop manufacturing engineers and technicians; set priorities and allocate resources.
• Oversee CAD generation/review, enclosure modifications, and data standards enforcement.
• Drive new product/process development and scale-up; perform ROI analyses and gate reviews.
• Define and monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery and cost.
