You'll conduct analyses, support Lean Six Sigma initiatives, and participate in projects like fiberglass mold work and CAD development for Sea Ray, Boston Whaler, and Navan brands. This full-time summer internship runs May–August 2027.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years toward a bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • Basic Lean Six Sigma knowledge.
  • Experience using engineering tools and methods in manufacturing.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, and MS Project.
  • Strong communication and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze manufacturing processes using engineering tools and techniques.
  • Conduct manpower forecasts, capacity analysis, and resource leveling.
  • Assist in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
  • Study and reduce variation in critical manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain documentation on related studies and analyses.
  • 3D-modeling of plant layouts to aid in building layouts.
