Job summary

Brunswick’s Boston Whaler division in Edgewater, FL is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to boost productivity and cut costs through process reengineering. The role focuses on supporting lean tools, studying capacity, and creating 3D layouts for new marine product lines.

Ideal candidates are pursuing an engineering degree, have basic Lean Six Sigma knowledge, and can work in a fast-paced fiberglass/resin environment. This onsite internship offers hands-on learning and project exposure.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Basic Lean Six Sigma knowledge.
• Experience using engineering tools in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Access and MS Project.
• Authorized to work in the United States immediately without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes using engineering tools and techniques.
• Conduct manpower forecasts, capacity analysis, and resource leveling studies.
• Assist in implementing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methods.
• Study variation in critical manufacturing processes and document findings.
• Create 3D plant-layout models to support space planning.
