General Motors Company is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead the product assembly strategy and execute design-for-assembly initiatives across programs. You will collaborate with Product Engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to deliver buildable vehicles, reduce costs, and maintain safety standards.

You bring 8+ years in manufacturing engineering, strong analytical skills, and proven leadership to guide complex projects, set clear priorities, and mentor the team.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of manufacturing/manufacturing engineering experience in program execution or an assembly plant.
• Experience supporting multiple vehicle launches.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to guide teams through complex, non-standard problems and implement countermeasures.
• Proven project management skills with setting clear deliverables and managing risks.

Mansioni

• Set the team’s product manufacturability and assembly strategy priorities.
• Lead DFA and design-for-automation initiatives with automation teams, suppliers, PE, and specialists.
• Direct development and review of vehicle build sequences and trade-offs to reduce cost and risk.
• Promote knowledge sharing and adoption across programs.
• Coach engineers and manage day-to-day team activities and workload.
