General Motors is seeking an Engineering Group Manager for General Assembly Execution to lead a team of engineers delivering manufacturing projects from design through startup at the assembly site.

You will partner with operations, quality, and supply chain to meet budgets and schedules while upholding safety and quality standards, driving continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 7+ years in a manufacturing engineering role.
• 3+ years in supervisory or management role.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Familiar with safety regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Monitor progress, identify and resolve roadblocks, and mitigate risks.
• Ensure adherence to engineering standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and successful product launches.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
• Maintain and manage budgets and forecasts.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in manufacturing engineering.
• Other duties as assigned.
