General Motors seeks an Engineering Group Manager to lead a manufacturing engineering team responsible for executing complex projects from design through production startup on site. You will partner with operations, quality, and supply chain to meet budgets, timelines, and quality standards while driving continuous improvements.

The role requires a strong track record in manufacturing environments, leadership, and expertise in CAD/CAM, Lean/Six Sigma, and safety compliance.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Six Sigma).
• Experience with CAD/CAM software and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Monitor project progress, identify and resolve roadblocks, and mitigate risks.
• Ensure adherence to engineering standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and successful product launches.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain and meet project budgets/forecasts.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in manufacturing engineering.
• Other duties as assigned.
