Job summary

General Motors Company in Warren, Michigan is seeking an Engineering Group Manager – General Assembly Execution to lead a team of engineers through manufacturing project delivery from design to production launch onsite.

You will partner with operations, quality and supply chain to meet time, budget and safety standards while driving continuous improvement and strong stakeholder relationships in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).
• 7+ years in a manufacturing engineering role.
• 3+ years in a supervisory/management role.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineers to deliver manufacturing projects.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Ensure adherence to engineering standards, safety and lean principles.
• Collaborate with operations, quality and supply chain for successful launches.
