Job summary

GE Aerospace invites students to join our Manufacturing Engineering Internship in Terre Haute, IN. You will build a strong technical foundation in manufacturing and assembly, including new product integration, technology adoption, continuous improvement, and cost-out initiatives.

You will apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to improve productivity, support sourcing and delivery efforts, and prepare for our MEDP or OMLP programs after graduation.

Qualifications

• GPA requirement: minimum 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Enrolled in a full-time registered and nationally accredited bachelor or graduate program (accepted majors listed).
• Willingness to work in any of GE Aerospace's U.S. locations.

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand state-of-the-art methods of manufacturing.
• Support manufacturing and repair processes for component hardware and/or engine assembly.
• Maintain high-quality standards via risk assessment, root cause analysis, corrective action, and statistical controls.
• Ensure safe work conditions via Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives.
• Learn and apply Lean and Six Sigma to drive productivity, on-time delivery, process capability, and stable operations.
