Job summary

Saint‑Gobain North America is launching an 18‑month Essentials of Manufacturing (EOM) program designed to develop engineers into manufacturing leaders. Participants work in a full-time operational role at a single plant for 18 months, with quarterly travel to other Saint‑Gobain sites in North America and an 80:20 local site projects to program activities split.

Upon completion, participants may receive a final placement offer within the host business, with opportunities across Saint‑Gobain’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Electrical, etc.).
• Internship experience in manufacturing or a professional setting is a plus.
• Valid passport required for international travel to Canada.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for site process improvements.
• Support safety and sustainability initiatives at the plant.
• Implement new automation processes at the site.
• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for cost reduction and quality improvement.
