Qualifikationen

• Analytical ability with structured technical problem solving methods such as RedX or Design for Six Sigma.
• Team-based work to understand products, processes and failure modes.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects with autonomy and accountability.
• Shows initiative to improve output and assist others.
• Proven success in managing large, complex projects.
• Experience troubleshooting production equipment.

Aufgaben

• Supports continuous improvement projects.
• Approval of process documentation.
• Diagnose, analyze, and document emergent tooling issues.
• Creation of engineering sufficiency plans as required.
• Ensure supply base adheres to GM standards and quality, and manufacturing processes are enabled.
• Design, analyze and implement product or machinery designs for best method for manufacturing processes.
• Propose and evaluate the processes for equipment in assigned area.
• Direct the design, development, and/or improvement of manufacturing processes for assigned area.
• Regular contact with others outside the work group including leading cross-functional teams.
• Provide direction to small group of technical employees.
• Responsible to evaluate or monitor expenditures for processes and/or equipment.
• Strong technical knowledge and ability in process engineering disciplines.
• Strong knowledge and ability to implement GMGMS principles.
