General Motors in Warren, Michigan is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to direct design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes for the assigned area. The role analyzes and implements product or machinery designs to optimize manufacturing methods and oversees tool design and installation.

The position includes 20% travel to client sites nationwide and a hybrid work policy of 3 days in-office and 2 days remote, with collaboration across design, product engineering, and shop floor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Two years of Body-in-White Manufacturing Engineer experience.
• Experience with mechanical tool design, automotive assembly, and project management.

Responsabilités

• Direct the design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes for the assigned area.
• Analyze and implement product or machinery designs for optimal manufacturing methods.
• Provide technical direction to engineers, technicians, and tool suppliers.
• Review and approve tool designs and oversee tool build and installation as required.
• Travel up to 20% of time to client sites nationwide and report to local office as hybrid policy.
