General Motors Corporation in Warren, Michigan seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to direct the design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes for the Body-in-White area. You will analyze equipment designs, propose process improvements, and oversee tool build and installation to meet production needs.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Automotive or Electrical Engineering and at least two years’ related experience, with travel to client sites nationwide.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Two years of experience as a Body-in-White Manufacturing Engineer or related role.
• Experience with mechanical tool design and construction; production throughput and discrete event simulation.

Responsabilidades

• Direct design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes.
• Evaluate equipment designs and supervise tool build and installation.
• Develop shop floor build process documentation and support engineering activities.
• Travel to client sites nationwide (approx. 20%).
• Provide technical direction to support personnel and suppliers.
