Phillips & Temro Industries Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to scope, design, deploy, and qualify new equipment and fixturing for new products.

You will champion projects to optimize throughput, yield, and ergonomics with a focus on reducing operating expenses through automation in a fast-moving manufacturing environment. The role requires a BSc in Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent) and 3+ years of relevant experience, with knowledge of IATF/ISO APQP quality systems and

Qualifications

• BSc Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent) degree required.
• 3+ years manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience with plant maintenance and operation knowledge.
• Ability to meet demanding deadlines and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Scopes, designs, documents, deploys and qualifies new equipment/fixturing to support new products.
• Leads projects to optimize throughput, yield and ergonomics with emphasis on cost reduction via automation and waste minimization.
• Directs engineers and technicians in construction, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation of equipment.
• Develops plant area expertise and troubleshoots in cross-functional teams; leads new product launches and CI efforts.
• Identifies and submits capital project documentation for approval; coordinates purchasing, installation and testing of equipment before production release.
• Participates in problem solving, liaising between factory floor and Development Engineering (DFMEA input).
• Provides leadership in safe plant operations; participates in safety/ergonomics committees.
• Generates and maintains process data, BOMs, routing, work instructions, and related production docs.
