Job summary

Phillips & Temro Industries in Minnesota seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams through all stages of automotive/industrial equipment development. You will drive schedules, budgets, and quality, maintain stage-gate documentation, and liaise with suppliers and customers to ensure successful product outcomes.

The role requires 5 years in project management within automotive/heavy equipment, plus a bachelor’s in engineering.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
5 years' experience in project management and development in automotive, heavy-duty, or industrial equipment.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing stage-gate processes (APQP/PPAP).

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional teams through all phases of project development and execution.
Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Maintain project documentation and stage gate requirements, including APQP.
Act as liaison between internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
Present status updates, timelines, and risk assessments to leadership.
Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, procurement, and commercial to align objectives.
Support prototype development and validation.
Facilitate customer interactions, travel 5–10%.
Ensure compliance with quality systems and regulatory or customer requirements.
