Job summary

Phillips & Temro Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to scope, design, deploy and qualify new equipment for new products in a fast-moving, regulated manufacturing environment. You will lead cross-functional teams to optimize throughput, yield, and ergonomics while reducing operating expenses through automation and error-proofing.

The role requires a BSc in Manufacturing Engineering and 3+ years of relevant experience, with strong emphasis on project leadership, metrology, and problem

Qualifications

• BSc Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Ability to meet demanding deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
• Experience leading long-term programs and addressing short-term issues.

Responsibilities

• Scope, design, document, deploy and qualify new equipment to support new products.
• Lead projects to improve throughput, yield, and ergonomics with a focus on automation and waste reduction.
• Guide engineers and technicians in construction, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting and documentation of equipment.
• Develop plant-area expertise and participate in cross-functional teams for new product launches and continuous improvement.
• Prepare capital project documentation, coordinate purchasing, installation and testing prior to production release.
• Serve as liaison between factory floor and Development Engineering for DFM input.
• Provide leadership in safe plant operations and contribute to safety/ergonomics initiatives.
• Generate and monitor process operating parameters, capacity, routing and BOM data, and related documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
