Your work will ensure processes, tooling, and systems are designed for adaptability, scalability, and long-term producibility for future program variants. Approximately 25% travel may be required to support LM sites and the supply base.

  • Support the design, fabrication, assembly, validation, and deployment of manufacturing tools and electromechanical systems (including robots, conveyors, vision systems, and PLCs) that enable seamless transitions between current and future configurations.
  • Lead and participate in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) events aimed at enhancing configurability, standardization, and cost-effective producibility of complex electro-mechanical systems across LM sites and the supply base.
  • Develop modular processes and tooling frameworks that reduce changeover time and cost, directly supporting future configuration introductions and variant expansions.
  • Spearhead cost reduction and process optimization initiatives across LM Sites and the supply base, with targeted focus on minimizing configuration-dependent costs and enabling scalable manufacturing for future product families.
  • Manage capital planning, vendor/integrator engagements, and project execution to deploy scalable, automated manufacturing solutions that support multiple configuration families across MFC and beyond.
  • Influence design for manufacturability ensuring the producibility of complex electro-mechanical systems with an eye toward future-configuration compatibility, modularity, and standardized interfaces.
