Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a manufacturing engineer to develop and implement processes, layouts and production flow for assemblies and equipment installation. You will evaluate performance, drive continuous improvement and leverage data analytics to optimize operations.

The role requires familiarity with ERP systems, CAD drawings, and 3D modeling to support design and manufacturing decisions. This on-site position sits in Colorado with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year related experience or may have a post-secondary degree or training.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.).
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing ERP systems.
  • Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.
  • Manufacturing engineering floor experience.
  • Knowledgeable of general manufacturing / integration processes.
  • Must be a United States citizen.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts.
  • Drive adoption of new technologies and processes to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Create and analyze 3D model data to optimize processes and digital work instructions.
  • Leverage factory data to develop SPC approaches and data analytics for CI.
  • Provide input to product design to optimize equipment usage and techniques.

Creates and analyzes 3D based model data environment to optimize manufacturing process and digital work instructions. Leverages understanding of materials and automatic processes to define operations procedures and build sequences to drive operational excellence. Evaluates performance (including IoT devices, etc.) of equipment and tools to verify their efficiency and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure operational excellence. Leverages factory data to develop statistical process control approaches and integrates reporting and data analytics solutions for continuous improvement. Provides input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $65500.00 - $121700.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
