Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an on-site Production Sustaining Engineer to keep the imaging production line moving by rapidly troubleshooting in-line issues, diagnosing failures, and coordinating with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams.

The role focuses on assembly, integration, test of electromechanical/offline optomechanical systems, with emphasis on first-line defense of the production floor and continuous improvement to yield and throughput.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical field such as mechanical, electrical, systems, or industrial engineering, or a related hard science.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting an active production line.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting, testing, and assembling electromechanical hardware in a live production environment.
• Experience utilizing MES and ERP platforms to track yields, routing, and inventory.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Embed on the production floor to rapidly respond to, diagnose, and resolve in-line production issues across assembly, integration, and test.
• Own the response process when the line goes down and coordinate with engineering, maintenance, quality, and supply chain.
• Handle digital administration of the line within ERP and MES for accurate production tracking and inventory flow.
• Perform rapid debugging, testing, and root-cause analysis on failing hardware and processes.
• Collaborate with technicians and assemblers to capture assembly friction points and feed improvements back to design and process.
