Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an Equipment Maintenance professional to lead preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for CNC machines and related production equipment. You will drive optimization, diagnostics, and repairs to keep manufacturing lines at peak performance in a defense-oriented environment.

You will mentor technicians, coordinate with engineering and suppliers, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards while delivering measurable reliability improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding across hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• 10+ years in mechanical overhaul of precision equipment.
• 10+ years rebuilding precision CNC spindles.
• 10+ years maintaining multi-axis CNC machines in production.
• 10+ years post-apprenticeship maintenance experience on CNC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize preventive maintenance programs for CNC and production equipment.
• Perform hands-on PM tasks, inspections, and corrective maintenance.
• Lead complex troubleshooting, disassembly, rebuilds, and testing to production-ready state.
• Install, calibrate, and upgrade equipment; ensure safety and standards compliance.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Manage spares, inventory, and record-keeping for critical equipment.
• Provide technical leadership and training to maintenance teams.
