Job summary

Crane Co in Los Angeles is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support production and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. This hands-on role focuses on process development, troubleshooting, and efficiency improvements for both new product introductions and sustaining production.

You will apply Lean and Six Sigma tools, design and implement cost-effective processes, and provide technical training to production teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing engineering or related experience.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing methods, process design, and SPC.
• Experience with DFMEA, ISO 9001, and quality systems.
• Proficiency with CAD tools in 2D and 3D.
• Familiarity with machining, assembly, welding, and electro-mechanical systems.
• Exposure to automation, robotics, and PLC programming.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing & process development to meet product specs and quality.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and apply Lean and Six Sigma.
• Support transition of new products to production, including validation and work instructions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Develop automation solutions and integrate new equipment.
