Job summary
Crane Co in the Los Angeles area seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to support production and drive continuous improvement across operations. You will focus on process development, troubleshooting, and efficiency improvements while supporting new product introductions and sustaining production.
The role prefers hands-on, analytical candidates with a drive to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods and process design.
- Experience with Lean and Six Sigma tools and data-driven problem solving.
- Familiarity with GD&T and engineering drawings.
- Exposure to automation, robotics, and PLC programming.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement cost-effective manufacturing processes aligned with product specs and quality standards.
- Apply Lean and Six Sigma to improve processes and reduce waste.
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Support automation projects and integrate new equipment to improve throughput and cost performance.
